Magali Van Bulck is the Head of EMEA Policy at Wise, the international money account. During her time at Wise, Magali has been heavily focused on improving transparency in cross-border payments, lowering the cost of remittances and providing a pathway for non-banks to join the national financial infrastructure.
Magali is a member of the Payment Systems Market Expert Group at the European Commission and a board member of PayBelgium, the voice of the Belgian payments industry. She is also the founder of the Accept My IBAN initiative, supported by more than 30 members including N26, Klarna and Revolut. Through this website, consumers can report cases of IBAN discrimination, regardless of where they live or which bank they use.
