Hilary O’Meara is country managing director of Accenture in Ireland and has held this role since January 2023.
A veteran of Accenture in Ireland for almost 30 years, Hilary has held a number of key leadership roles including Head of Strategy & Consulting and Head of Technology in Ireland, as well as leading our Resources practice (serving clients in the Utility and Energy sector). In August 2021, Hilary was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Accenture’s UK & Ireland business.
Hilary has extensive experience in delivering large-scale client technology solutions to accelerate growth and increase efficiency. Hilary is passionate about helping clients to build their digital core, ensuring they are ready and equipped to embrace new and emerging technologies and reinventing their industries.
Hilary is passionate about empowering the next generation of talent, nurturing individual development, and supporting teams. In this fast paced and quickly evolving world, she has a particular focus on the importance of modern leadership, continuous learning and promoting a culture that is inclusive and diverse.
Hilary is a member of Accenture Ireland’s Board. She is also a member of both UCD College of Business Irish Advisory Board and the Board of Open Doors Initiative. She holds a BSc in Computer Science from University College Dublin.
A native of Dublin, Hilary is married to Sean, and they have three children – Aisling, Eoin, and Katherine.
