Alice Charles

Alice is the Global Leader for Arup’s Strategic Partnerships with international organisations, mayoral networks and NGOs. She is also a Director for Cities, Planning & Design focusing on delivering cross cutting urban strategy projects globally.  She is also a member of the UN Habitat Executive Directors Stakeholder Advisory Group Enterprise, Co-Chair of the Earthshot Prize Cities Working Group, member of the SDSN Urban SDG Finance Commission and Chairs its Private Sector Taskforce, UN Global Compact Ireland Chapter Board Member, Member of the World Economic Forum Davos Baukultur Alliance and a Member of the Steering Board of Construct Innovate. She previously led the World Economic Forum’s cities work, was an External Member of the Board, NAMA Planning Advisory Committee,  EU Presidency Officer with the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government, worked in Dail Eireann, Jacobs and Avison Young.
