Fearghal Reidy is the recently appointed Chief Executive of Kerry County Council. He has over 30 years experience in the public and private sectors, primarily in areas of regeneration, economic development, policy analysis and planning and development at local and national levels. He was Director of Services with Cork City Council with responsibility for Strategic and Economic Development, including regeneration, Cork Docklands and Climate Action. He leads Kerry County Council in the delivery of a broad range of public services, such as housing, transport, environment and climate action, cultural, community and economic development along with urban and rural regeneration across the county. He is overseeing a pipeline of capital investment in climate action, housing, connectivity, placemaking and the enterprise ecosystem that will continue to enhance County Kerry’s attractiveness as a top class place to do business. He has a BComm and an MBS from University of Galway and an MEconSc. from University College Dublin.
