Richard has been an investor in Standard Gas since 2015 and a director since 2018. His background before joining was in fixed income markets, holding senior positions at JP Morgan, Citadel and Deutsche Bank. Prior to his trading career Richard studied Chemistry at Oxford University. Richard applies his science and analytical background to helping manage the direction of the company, specifically developing the products from Standard Gas’s patented technology. This includes characterising the environmental benefits of the technology’s products, obtaining certification for the Carbon Removal benefit and expanding the knowledge base surrounding the product gas and its conversion into fossil replacing fuels.
